Tax-Free Childcare information session for professionals and childcare providers

To help raise awareness in Northern Ireland of the support available to parents with  the cost of registered childcare two online information sessions are taking place in May and June focussing on the Tax-Free Childcare scheme.

These information sessions are open to childcare providers and other professionals who work directly with families and aim to raise the awareness and understanding of the important form of support towards the cost of registered childcare. These sessions will be delivered by consultancy firm Hempsall’s on behalf of HMRC Childcare Choices.

Tax-Free Childcare information session for professionals who support families in Northern Ireland

Wednesday 31 May – 7.00pm–8.00pm

This is for those professionals come into contact with families through their work. This includes  health visitors, social workers, housing officers, early years or childcare providers, holiday activity providers, teachers, or those who work in a children’s centre, or job centre.

The information session will provide an overview of Tax-Free Childcare and explain how it can support families with their childcare costs.

Tax-Free Childcare information session for childcare providers in Northern Ireland

Monday 5 June – 7.00pm–8.30pm

This information session is aimed at all types of registered childcare providers across Northern Ireland.

The information session will provide a useful overview of Tax-Free Childcare and explain how Tax-Free Childcare can help families as well as support childcare providers at a time when cost pressures are a priority.
