PR and Communications Manager

We are currently recruiting for a PR and Communications Manager to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

As part of the Senior Management Team the post holder will be responsible for helping to shape the strategic direction of the organisation.  They will lead a small team of highly competent professionals and be responsible for managing all marketing and promotional activities, publicity, external communications and event management.

The Person:

The ideal candidate must meet all of the essential criteria as listed on the personnel specification including:

A degree in a marketing-related discipline or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a marketing role and experience of managing a team.

Experience must include:

  • Digital marketing including a practical, working knowledge of:
    – SEO and website optimisation
    – Content management
    – Google analytics
  • Design and production of in-house promotional materials
  • Management of marketing campaigns
  • Event Management
  • Managing social media channels
  • Media relations

A minimum of 1 years’ direct line management experience at senior management level.

It is essential to be IT literate to include extensive use of electronic communications, desktop publishing and Microsoft Office programmes.
