Afterschool Leader (Giggles Early Years)
On behalf of Giggles Early Years based just outside Newry we are seeking to recruit an Afterschool Leader on a permanent basis.
Work Time: Monday to Friday 12pm-6pm
Salary: £9.00ph
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supporting the Registered persons to ensure the daily running and administration of the After School, adhering to policies & procedures of the afterschool in compliance with minimum standards
- To provide a stimulating and varied programme of play
- Lead staff team to ensure safe and smooth daily running of the afterschool facility
Essential Criteria
- Aged 18 and over
- NVQ Level 3 CCLD / PLAYWORK
- At least 1 year paid employment specifically within an out of school’s setting
Desirable Criteria
- Level 5 CCLD / Play work (or willing to enrol in a level 5)
- First aid
- Safeguarding
- Two years paid employment specifically within an out of school’s setting
