Preschool Leader (Maternity Cover)

On behalf of Jolly Rodgers Day Nursery, based in Lisburn, we are seeking to recruit a Pre-School Leader to cover a period of maternity leave.

Work time: 4 days per week (40 hour contract)

Salary: To be confirmed

Roles and responsibilities:

• Supervision of preschool children and staff
• Daily/weekly and monthly planning
• Recording observations
• Maintain all policies and procedures

Essential criteria

• Aged 18 or over
• Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent
• Child Protection training
• First aid training
• Previous preschool/ afterschool experience

Desirable criteria

• Experience within a preschool run environment
• Knowledge of preschool curriculum
• Experience of using See-Saw/Family Apps and general ICT
• Working Towards CCLD level 5 or Early Years Degree
