Employers For Childcare is opening an exciting new family adventure centre – High Rise – at our site in Altona Road, Lisburn (5 minutes from Sprucefield and the A1/M1). We are seeking 2 Duty Supervisors to support the Centre Manager and Assistant Centre Manager (Senior Managers) with the day to day running of High Rise and achieving our commercial goals in our fabulous new indoor adventure centre. High Rise will open early Autumn 2019 and will create up to 50 jobs.

 

High Rise, will feature an indoor climbing arena combined with a multi storey soft play area, party rooms, sensory room and a café serving high quality coffee, snacks and lunches. The centre will provide services for families with babies and children, teenagers, mature adults and corporate clients.

It will incorporate Clip ‘n Climb – best described as ‘theme park meets climbing wall’. Clip ‘n Climb is the leading global brand in fun climbing walls and allows anyone over the age of 4 years to take part in physical exercise in a safe yet challenging environment.

 

The Duty Supervisor will be responsible for acting up in the Senior Managers absence. This is a hands-on role and the successful candidates will be required to provide ongoing training and coaching for the staff team and will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of customer service whilst ensuring full compliancy to our Health & Safety procedures.

 

The centre will open 7 days per week, morning until late evening, and the Duty Supervisors must be available to work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with at least 1 weekend off in 4. With a planned opening date of late Summer/early Autumn, we are now recruiting for the full range of posts.

 

Applicants for the role of Duty Supervisor must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience gained during the last 5 years to include:

  • working at supervisor level in leisure management, operations or hospitality
  • leading and motivating a team relevant supervisory experience such as management of a leisure facility or a hospitality setting

and fully meet the essential criteria as set out in the Personnel Specification.
