Our Service
Our Family Benefits Advice Service provides free, impartial and confidential advice to parents and carers by emailing us at fbas@employersforchildcare.org.
We are here to help families to maximise their income and to support them by providing advice and guidance on their rights and entitlements.
Many people don’t realise that even if they are working, they may still be entitled to financial help, particularly with their childcare costs. Most working parents are entitled to financial support provided they are using a registered childcare provider.
Our Family Benefits Advice Service provides free, impartial and confidential advice to parents and carers on a wide range of childcare and work-related issues including:
- Universal Credit
- Tax-Free Childcare
- Maternity/Paternity Leave and Pay
- Shared Parental Leave
- Flexible Working
- School Uniform Allowances
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Attendance Allowance
