Wraparound Childcare in Primary Schools

The first ever report to examine wraparound childcare provision in primary schools in Northern Ireland. 49% of schools that participated in the study offered some form of provision, however many schools are unable to offer any form of wraparound childcare due to lack of funding.

Childcare Cost Survey 2011

The survey showed that an average family in the region can pay around £16,000 per year for childcare. Furthermore almost half of the respondents commented that the cost of childcare influenced the hours they worked.
