Annual Parent Survey 2014

This survey has now closed.

The 2014 survey sought to capture the experiences of parents living in Northern Ireland today, the issues and challenges they face. The results will be used by the charity to campaign for better support for parents at a Government level.

In 2013 we found that that over half of families here are now relying on grandparents or other family members to help with childcare. Further research found that 63% of managers and senior officials ended their maternity leave early because of career concerns. And perhaps the most worrying, 46% of parents were forced to reduce their working hours or drop out of work altogether because of the cost of childcare.
