An independent assessment of parental demand for and access to childminding provision

Have your say on on childminding I’m sure, as a parent, you appreciate how difficult it can be to find an ideal childcare arrangement. NICMA are really keen to hear your experiences and thoughts about this and in particular, your views on childminding as an effective childcare option. This is your chance to have your say about this very important issue and we hope you are willing to participate in this important research by completing the enclosed questionnaire.
Research Project NICMA has recently commissioned CM Works to conduct a comprehensive research project entitled “An independent assessment of parental demand for and access to childminding provision”. The research will include recommendations for government and will be published and launched.
As part of the research, we are hoping to consult with as many parents as possible across Northern Ireland to assess levels of demand for childminding services. We also hope to examine any potential barriers experienced by parents when accessing childminding services.
We are really keen to hear your experiences and thoughts about how difficult it can be to find childcare and in particular, your views on childminding as an effective childcare option. This is your chance to have your say about this very important issue and we hope you are willing to participate in this important research by completing the questionnaire.
We are organising a prize draw for those who return their questionnaires by the date provided. Three prizes of Marks and Spencers vouchers are available. To be included in this prize draw, simply provide your name and details at the relevant section of the questionnaire. Please be assured that these details will be treated with strictest confidence and will be used solely for the purpose of the prize draw and will not be passed on to any other agencies or individuals.
