New Childcare Benefits Advisory Service
Thursday 25 February 2010 We are delighted to announce that we have launched a new Childcare Benefits Advisory Service. We have arranged a series of drop in sessions, that will be coming to a town near you.....
The Childcare Benefits Advisory Service is a new addition to the list of services that we provide to parents. The Childcare Benefits Advisors work specifically with parents to make them aware of potential support available. They offer a one-to-one service offering financial advice and practical help with childcare; from tax credits and childcare vouchers to flexible working arrangements. The advice and guidance empowers parents with knowledge on their rights and entitlements to enable them to make informed decisions about their work-life circumstances. Marie Marin, Chief Executive Officer commented: 'There is nothing more important to our organisation, than helping parents to be able to access work and stay in work. We are delighted to announce the appointment of two Childcare Benefits Advisors, who have specialised knowledge and experience relating to benefits advice and childcare issues. We recognise the challenges and issues that parents face when considering childcare and work-life options and work to address them through our services'. Employers For Childcare have been providing expert advice and information for the past ten years, including the on-line childcare search facility for parents to source what childcare provision that exists in their local area . The new service entails a comprehensive benefits assessment that provides details on potential help with childcare costs and helpful advice on work-life options. The Childcare Benefits Advisory team will be operating a number of drop-in sessions across Northern Ireland.
